[WLUG] iOS and Linux

Hi guys,
I was a sucker and bought a cheap iPad mini (on liquidation.com) that was
iCloud locked. Has anyone successfully hacked into an iOS device using
Linux or may be something more sinister, like installing linux on it?

PS: Apple said that the device wasn't stolen, LOL
