<br><br><br>Working Title: Web Hosting Application Administrator Intermediate / Associate<br><br>Job Code Title: CS Programmer Intermediate<br><br>Job Summary:<br><br>The Information and Technology Services (ITS) organization has an exciting opportunity to employ an Application Systems Administrator (Intermediate or Associate level) to administer and monitor information system operations to the university's web hosting applications, including MediaWiki, and Drupal applications. This position will report to the Application and Web Infrastructure Manager responsible for tier two production support operations for customers across University campus on web hosting services. This position requires a highly qualified individual who possesses a drive to focus and produce results, and the ability to work independently to provide excellent customer service and effectively manage customer relationships in an ever-changing environment.<br>
<br>Note: * This position may be filled at the Intermediate level ($55,385 to $72,000) or the Associate level ($43,846 - $57,000). Starting salary and position are dependent upon the qualifications and experience. The requirements listed below reflect the Intermediate level, but those with lesser experience are also encouraged to apply.<br>
<br>Required Qualifications<br><br>* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent combination of education, certification and experience<br><br>* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role requiring confidentiality, timeliness, customer service, organization, prioritization, troubleshooting, analysis, problem solving and working independently to successfully execute, implement, maintain, update/upgrade, and document application infrastructures and related technical components<br>
<br>* Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible web hosting administration experience utilizing applicable system infrastructures.<br><br>* Demonstrate thorough understanding of web hosting infrastructures and related technical components including strong technical skills in Apache administration and UNIX scripting<br>
<br>* Demonstrate ability to perform analysis and technical problem solving skills<br><br>* Demonstrate ability to communicate moderately complex technical concepts and information effectively both verbally and in writing so various audiences receiving the communication can understand </div>
