Well, I've used a Chromebook as a daily driver since Dec
2012 and<br clear="none">
a Chromebox with and without Crouton for the past year.
Upgraded<br clear="none">
the RAM and SSD and restored Chrome OS before installing
Crouton.<br clear="none">
That was a small education in itself. It should be
simple, but<br clear="none">
there are some "NOT OBVIOUS" gotya's just like reading a
man page.<br clear="none">
It's not as if it was my job, so my depth of knowledge may
or may<br clear="none">
not be sufficient for the group.<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
What is the usual format for a presentation? I can do a
talk, but<br clear="none">
doing a live install might be a challenge to get an
overhead display<br clear="none">
working while booting, re-booting, in "scary mode" (a
chromeism).<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
My background: Unix user-Sysadmin by default as there
wasn't anyone<br clear="none">
else since 1983. Unix III and V7 and yes that was a while
ago.<br clear="none">
Some form of Unix since then. C, shell, AWK from 1983 and
perl<br clear="none">
from about 1990. Linux: RH, CentOS on the server and
Fedora, SuSE,<br clear="none">
Ubuntu and now Mint on the desktop.<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
Retired now.<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
