<div>As a rule machines that take DDR3 memory will accept 8GB DIMMs if they're 3rd-gen Intel Core series or newer and 4GB DIMMs prior to that, regardless of manufacturer documentation. Do update to the current BIOS first in case there are memory compatibility updates. </div>
