          machine having Mint LMDE 'Betsy' (debian Jessie) + Firefox at

          Will probably need more info about the TV side:<br>
          It is probably some sort of 'streaming stick' (chromecast,
          Roku, Fire-TV, etc.).<br>
          It may be baked into the TV software, or be a small device
          with HDMI output connected to TV or projector.<br>
          Some have a iOS / Android App published by the device
          manufacture designed to stream from phone to TV.<br>
          And perhaps (most likely Google Chrome -&gt; Chromecast) from
          a browser on Windows or Mac to a the TV.<br>

          An Internet search for [ chromecast  linux firefox ] did turn
          up some results, but I've not vetted nor tried any of them.<br>
          And of course, you might be working with a different streaming
          device.<br>
